How a race runs
Each player steps into a lane and picks up their pony. On the start call, everyone hops, gallops or stumbles toward the finish line. First across wins the heat. Winners move on, and the final usually draws the biggest crowd of the day.
The track is inflatable, so falls are soft, and they happen a lot. That's half the entertainment.
What your rental includes
We deliver the track and ponies, inflate and set up the lanes, and take it all down at the end. We confirm on your quote whether an attendant comes to start races and keep players in their lanes. We'll also give you the track length so you can check it fits.
Events it suits
Racing is easy to follow from across a room, so it pulls spectators in. It's also team-friendly. Corporate groups run department relays, schools run grade-level heats, and family parties end up with parents racing kids. If you want competition without the solo pressure of the mechanical bull, this is a strong pick.
Space and setup
- The track is long and narrow, so measure the length of your space, not just the area.
- Outdoors, a flat lawn is ideal. Slopes make the race unfair.
- Indoors, have an outlet near one end for the blower.
- Leave room along the sides for the crowd.
Running heats smoothly
Have someone take names on a clipboard, run heats by age group at family events, and save the final for when the crowd is biggest. Hopping is tiring, so adults usually manage one or two races before handing the pony back. That keeps turnover high and gets more people playing.
Want a full derby? Give each lane a horse name, print a race card and let guests pick a favorite.
Pair it with
For a full western afternoon, add the cow milking contest and the shooting gallery. See packages for more ideas, then get a quote.
Questions people ask
Can adults play?
Usually, yes. We share the age and weight limits for the ponies and track with your quote.
Does it need power?
The inflatable track normally needs one outlet for the blower. No power at your spot? Mention it on your quote.
Is it suitable for young kids?
The soft track helps, but young children should race in their own heats, supervised, and follow the rules on the day.
