Mechanical Buffalo Ride Rental

Our mechanical buffalo works like a bull but swaps the body for a shaggy bison. It looks bigger and wilder, so it is a strong pick when guests have already ridden a bull and you want something new. Book it for frontier themes, game days and outdoor festivals.

How it rides compared with a bull

The motion comes from the same kind of base as our mechanical bulls. The difference is the body. A bison is broader through the shoulders, which changes where riders put their hands and how they grip with their legs. Some find the wider body easier to sit on and harder to hang on to once it spins, so our operator starts slow while each rider works it out.

It also gives you a different photo. The heavy head and shaggy coat look nothing like a sleek bull, so pictures from your day stand out from every other rodeo party in the feed.

Events the buffalo suits

Plenty of New York parties have already had a bull. A buffalo gives repeat guests something fresh and a centerpiece that looks different in photos. It has an obvious fit for football fans upstate too: a game-day party with a bison ride needs little extra decorating.

What your rental includes

Every rental comes delivered, set up and run by a trained operator. We bring the ride, the padded inflatable corral and the safety mats, run it for your booked hours, then take it all down and haul it away.

The buffalo comes with its own inflatable ring, and our operator sets the rider limits for this body on the day.

Pairing the buffalo with other rides

At a big Western event, the buffalo makes a great second ride. Guests who tried the bull move on to the bison and compare. For a frontier fair, add lasso the longhorn or a shooting gallery nearby so the line has something to watch.

If you want the bull and buffalo running at the same time, say so on your quote request and we will confirm how we set it up. If they share a base and get swapped, we plan the switch around a natural break such as lunch.

Questions people ask

Is a buffalo harder to ride than a bull?

It depends on the rider and our operator's settings. The motion is similar, but the wider body feels different, so most people need a ride or two to adjust.

Can kids ride the buffalo?

Often, at slow speeds and within our operator's age and size rules. For very young children our baby bull is usually a better fit.

Do riders need to sign anything?

Yes, waivers are standard. Riders ride at their own risk, follow the operator's rules, and nobody rides after drinking.
